BIO

Molly Murphy is an artist and writer based in Marlborough, New Zealand. Born and raised in New Orleans, she and her family now call New Zealand home. ​

Molly earned a bachelor's degree in Visual Art and French from Louisiana State University. A component of her studies included exchange programmes at the University of New York at Stony Brook and Université de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France. She then went on to earn her doctorate in clinical psychology.​

 

Molly explores concepts of delicate and dangerous, fragile and funky using bold colours and an array of mediums including acrylic and digital illustration.
